Grass Rugs
Grass rugs are made from tightly twisted
and woven grasses such as sea or mountain
grass. They are increasingly popular with
decorators because of their smooth, soft
finish and their dramatic textures. Grass
rugs have a warm, earthy natural color that
makes them extremely versatile. They are
inexpensive, durable and easy to maintain.

grass rugs:
- Grass rugs come in a variety of weaves. The
classic design is simple, but they can also
be purchased in heavier, more patterned weaves
such as wicker or basketweave.
- Grass rugs are usually bound in cotton twill
or canvas borders that come
in a range of
colors. Better ones have a
latex backing.
- Grass rugs come in standard sizes from 2x3
feet up to 12x16 feet. Because they are relatively
lightweight, these rugs are easy to order
online or through a catalog.
Clean grass rugs by vacuuming. Spills should
