Wearing eye protection is highly recommended
while playing squash. A speeding
squash ball as well as a hit from your opponent's racquet
can do serious injury to your eye if it is
not protected. The same goggles can be used
for either racquetball or squash.
When buying a pair of goggles,
here are a
few points to consider:
- peripheral vision - it's important that your
goggles don't impair your vision or else
you increase the risk of injury and decrease
the likelihood that you will wear them
- air flow - squash is a hot game and there's
no sense in letting your goggles make you
any hotter than you have to be
- anti-scratch and anti-fog
- capable of holding prescription lens if you
need them
